Possible miscarriage symptoms in first trimester

Patient : I believe that I am pregnant. I had implantation bleeding for 2 consecutive days around 2 weeks ago -- a moderate amount of brown-black blood. Today, I have experienced posterior pelvic pain on the right side, deep inside the buttocks (I believe around the sacroiliac joint). I have also had mild cramps. Additionally, I found a light amount of brown blood in my underwear. Could this be a miscarriage?
Symptoms:  Sharp lower back pain on right side, light bleeding, mild cramping
