Possible Misdiagnosis?

Q: Hi, I'm an 18 year old male, and abouttwo months ago, I was diagnosed with a UTI, and a swollen scrotum.
They have prescribed me both sufatrim, and ciprofloaxin, however, neither of the antibiotics seems to have done anything to help, there have been no noticable differences.
Currently I still hve a swollen scrotal sac, and it's sitting at an odd angle, as well as a burning sensation as I urinate, occasional heat flashes, as well as chills, and (less frequent) severe abdominal pain.
I was wondering if perhaps the doctor could have misdiagnosed the problem, or if perhaps the problem has moved on to something else entirely, hence why the antibiotics aren't working?
