Patient : In short form
I am 22 year old healthy female.
About a month ago I left work with severe dizziness I went to walk in doctor. They suggested Vertigo. Saw family doctor later that day for second opinion. Explained dizziness and neck pain, given Betahistine for possible Inner Ear Infection or vertigo. Told it has to clear up on its own, should only take a week or so. Until then expect random dizzy spells. A couple days later I went to dentist with jaw pain. Was given Amoxicillin for possible infection. Yesterday I went snowboarding, began feeling very dizzy, crossed eye feeling, soon after had difficulty talking and slurred speech (instructor and friend couldn't understand, right side of face mouth and nose area twitching, right eye lid drooping). Left ski hill, went to the Urgent Care Centre. Urine, Blood, ECG, glucose was 4.1, and CT scan (without contrast) completed. All normal. Doctor said if it happens again to go to the Hospital. I Was still very dizzy leaving hospital, had to hold on to walls to walk out.
