Post insertion of seton for fistula in ano and banding
Patient : Two weeks ago I just had surgery for a fissure and had seton drain inserted. At the same time the surgeon banded some internal hemorroids. This morning I have a painful anus-looks like a large external hemorroid. I am not constipated. Is this to be expected and is it ok to put hemorroid cream on it.? (I am worried about getting the fistula site infected from any cream)I am doing sitz baths
