Potential Beer Allergy

Q: I am a male in my mid twenties, I have been drinking beer without a problem (besides the occasional hangover based on quantity), but have recently been getting splitting headaches after just a few beers. Originally the headaches could be offset by keeping well hydrated, but now extra water before bed doesn't seem to help. The issue has gotten worse over the past couple of months, and now one beer with dinner will result in a day long headache the next day. I have not been able to visit my allergist lately as I have been out of state, but I have previously been tested for Celiacs and I do not have any intolerance towards gluten. I do have a peanut and tree nut allergy, but the beer I have been drinking are usually domestic (Bud, Bud Light, Miller Light, etc.) and do not contain any nuts. Others have suggested that this could be an intolerance to alcohol, but liquor and wine never cause any problems.

Symptoms:  Headache, upset stomach
