Patient : My wife will be having her first colonoscopy in the near future. We know that colonoscopies are fairly common procedures and usually done under light anesthesia.
My wife would like me to be present with her in the exam room during her colonoscopy. We are both wondering if I will be able to be present in the exam room during her colonoscopy? If you do not think I will be allowed to be present during her colonoscopy, can you please explain why not?
