Q: Hi, I am hoping you can help answer a question that I have. A little about me, I had one mmc last nov, at 11 wks, baby died at 8wks. I had a chemical march 8th. Now I am 5 weeks pregnant. I had my progesterone tested at 5dpo and it was 15. I talked to my doc when I became pregnant and asked for another progesterone test and she declined and said that doctors here don't test for progesterone when you are pregnant. I asked for supplements anyway and she gave them to me. After reading the possible side effects that can now and the long term effects it scared me and I didn't want to just take it if it's not necessary especially because I'm prone to migraines and progesterone says not to take if you have migraines. Anyway, I found a clinic where I could pay out of pocket for a progesterone test and it came to a level of 22. I was 4 wks and 6 days the day of the test. Can you please let me know how that number looks and if it's best that I start on supplements or have another draw? Thank you!!!
