Prostate Problems - Might They Self-Resolve?

Patient

Q: 47 years old, some history of BPH, currently experiencing prostate irritation for previous 3wks. Gets better and then worse but never completely goes away. Been treating with NSAIDs, saw palmetto, stinging nettle, quercetin, d-mannose, and some perineum self-massage. Want to avoid antibiotics, alpha blockers if at all possible. Any major harm in waiting longer to see if condition resolves on its own?

Symptoms:  Frequent urination, weak urine stream, difficulty starting urination especially at night, mild irritation in area at times
