Patient :Hello, I want to ask a question regarding my hormones. I have manboobs and I want to get rid of them. I believe they are due to my hormones, I have started an exercise programme that targets manboobs and I can see a bit of results, but I want to know what I can do to really get rid of them and how I can get more testosterone in my body. I don't want to take any testosterone supplements as I know they have bad side effects. Also I want to get thicker chest hair, I believe my low testosterone is also causing thin or light chest hair in me. I have also bought Rogaine to rub on my chest, another online doctor says that Rogaine will cause thicker chest hair but will not do anything to my hormones. I have heard that Rogaine on any other parts of the body other than the head is risky so I am being careful, I only apply a very small amount on my chest and not always everyday. If it is risky I would think that natural herbal hair tonic would be less risky for chest hair growth since it only uses natural ingredients - What do you think? Last year I did have some Rogaine gel and did apply a small bit of that on my chest, I could see a bit of hair growth, but not sure if it was due to the Rogaine to be honest, maybe. But I had no side effects such as dizziness, chest pain etc. However I think that the gel had passed it;s expiry date, which may contribute towards this explanation. My question in a nutshell is - How can I get rid of my manboobs and how can I grow more thicker chest hair? Also, is rubbing Rogaine on my chest in very small amounts and just every other day OK or if not what are the risk factors? Thank you.
