Question about prescription retinoid strengths......

Patient

Q: Hi. I have a question about prescription retinoids. I went to a dermatologist last April for acne. I was prescribed antibiotics and a topical retinoid (.1% adapalene). I had been on the antibiotic for about 7 months and was uncomfortable taking it long term. I stopped taking it, and have started breaking out again. The adapalene is not keeping me clear. Here is my question. Is the weakest tretinoin (I think it's .01%?) stronger than the adapalene I'm currently using. I wanted to try a stronger retinoid, but was unsure if the weakest tretinoin was stronger than adapalene. Thanks so much, in advance. .
