Repeat blood test

Patient

Q: Hi, my twelve year old son had been very tired and lethargic and has lost 1kg since this time last year. I took him to the Doctor and he sent him off for a number of blood tests. I rang the nurse a few days later and she said everything was fine. I just got a letter from the doctor (along with a lab form) to have my son have the full blood count test and also the C reactive protein tests repeated. It has me a little worried I was wondering if you could give me any idea as to why these particular tests would need to be done again.. Thanks :)
