Respected doctor, My Age-24 Few

Q: Respected doctor,

My Age-24 .

Few days back I started getting Low back pain .
I consulted a doctor and on his advice took xray, blood test and
urine test. Doctor told it is just muscular spasm and will go over a
period of time .

After 20 days too, I felt uncomfortable so I consulted another doctor
and took MRI scan on his advice .

In mri scan
The result came as..

L4-5 disc- posterior central protrustion indenting the thecal sac and
imponging both traversing nerve root at lateral recess.

L5-S1 disc - posterior central/right paracentral protrusion indenting
the thecal sac and impinging the traversing nerve roots at lateral
recess (Right >left) .

Doctor told disc is slightly ruptured .

I did physiotherapy for 2weeks .
Still ,Am getting pain every day .

Am a marine engineer and I work in ships , I have to climb up and down
at least 300 steps a day . And have to bend up and down at least 100
times a day . This is the beginning of my career .
Am scared like anything .
Don't know weather I will be able to work .

Still I have 15-20 days to go onboard ship. Once gone
onboard I don get any kind of major medical help for 6months.

I kindly request you to help me out in this .
