Patient :Previous to pregnancy I suffered from restless leg syndrome, whereby I took a calcium and magnesium supplement. This seemed to help the condition. Since becoming pregnant, I have stopped taking any additional supplements except for my prenatal daily vitamin, as I am worried any additional supplements could damage the "foetus." Could you please tell me if it is advisable to take a calcium and magnesium supplement to help my restless leg syndrome, and if so, which one is best?
