Patient : About three weeks ago, I was working out doing handstand push ups and burpees, part of crossfit, which is known for its rapid intense and heavy movements. Midway through the workout, my right side of my lat, shoulder blade began to hurt and the pain is now running to the front of my right rib cage. I took a week off working out before i redid the same work out and began to hurt again. It hurts to breath, cough, lay down and sometimes even drive. Sometimes theres a twitch to the front of my rib cage when I make a movement that hurts. I went to an MD which he took xrays and noticed a small tissue, mass near a rib, no fractures, but also mentioned something about an inflammed lung, although my lungs looked and sounded healthy. Any idea what this can be
