Right Hand and Elbow Pain

Patient

Q: Being clumsy, I keep banging my right elbow very hard on door edges, tables etc. I was told many years ago that I had possible tendinitis. Generally the pain goes away after rest and use of aspirins. A couple of months ago I hit the elbow again and this time there was pain so sharp down my arm that I nearly passed out. I rested it a little, took more aspirin which helped somewhat. Two mornings ago I woke up with sharp pain in the elbow and a new burning pain in my 1st finger which radiates down my hand into my wrist and makes it difficult to do anything as this is my dominant hand. Taking aspirin doesn't help. Is this now an ulnar nerve injury and how can I treat this?
