Right hip Core Decompression

Patient

Q: Recovery after core decompression.
Hi There,
I am a 35 years old male, and went through a core decompression surgery for my right hip last week. Presently, I am having almost no pain in my hip other than the stitches and am able to move my leg in whichever direction I want to move it without any problem. Kindly let me know if I can do such movements, my doctor has advised me not to put any pressure on my right leg at all, therefore, I am using walker to go to washroom etc. Do I need to restrict my leg movements - if yes, for how long and how would I come to know that its recovering and up to what %age.
Kindly suggest some speedy recovery tips as well.
