Thanks for consulting us. High Cholesterol is one of the risk factors for Ischemic heart disease along with Hypertension. Normal cholesterol should not exceed 200 mg/dL. LDL, Triglyceride levels should be low and HDL should be high. So, even BP is with in normal range, high cholesterol can pose a threat to heart disease.
