Rosacea during pregnancy

Patient

Q: Hello doctor, im 29 years old female, been suffering from rosacea for 11 years, just from 2 years I have found a relief by applying erythromycin gel 2% on my face followed by rozex gel 0.75% together with avoiding my triggers and applying sunblock whenever im out, my facehas been great, last september I became pregnant, during first trimster I used my topicals but not regulary and my face was okay, but when I hit fifth month pregnancy, my face started to flare up and its very bad, alot of dry red elevated papules, I keep applying my topicals like before and applying my sunblock, but its very bad and hard to be controlled......I want to ask is this fro the effect of pregnancy hormones? Or is it possible that my medications have lost effectivness?...

Symptoms:  Rosacea subtype 2, redness, dry red elevated papules on cheeks chin and forehead
