Severe back pain after sports practice

Patient

Q: I am a competitive dancer and we do a partner stretch where one person lays on their stomach and the other person pulls their arms up over so that your head is almost touching your butt. I've never had any trouble with this stretch before. Two days ago I did it and I felt my spine crack in multiple places at once and it hurt more than usual. Keep in mind my body especially my back cracks very easily. I was sore for 10 minutes then it went away. The next morning I had extreme pain in my lower spine and decreased movement. There is no pain when I am not moving or bending forward. When I start to arch my back it is stiff and painful. The pain has not decreased. Do I need medical attention and how long will this last. I have been wearing a brace, taking ibuprofen, and using ice.
