Severe Pain in Right Hip (Joint)

Q: I'm a twenty year old American female, and I'm abroad in Spain for this semester. I'm walking more here than I ever have before, and have had on and off hip pain since the start of the semester. This last week, the pain didn't go away after I rested. It's centralized right above the ball-and-socket joint of my right leg, and increases severely if I rotate right. There is also a duller pain in my left hip, at the same spot. Any idea what is causing the pain and how to relieve it? Thanks!

Symptoms:  Shooting pain in right hip, dull pain in left
