Patient : I recently went to the OB GYN and had a papsmear done. The pap came back abnormal, so she did a colposcopy. When those results came back, they said that I have cervical dysplasia. That I have precancerous cells in my cervix but it was a very low risk one to where I don't need treatment yet. I'd have to wait 6 months for another papsmear and if that came back normal then I'd wait another 6 months to get another papsmear also. I would need 2 consecutive normal papsmear for everything to be considered normal. Well, me and my partner have been having unprotected sex before I found all of this out and since I have HPV now, he does too. If we continue to have unprotected sex will this affect the precancerous cells in any way
