Sex anxiety and ativan

Patient: When my boyfriend and I have intercourse, I get a burning pain in my vagina, especially when he’s first going in. He says it feels like I’m pushing him out, which I’m not intentionally doing. It’s my muscles spasming due to a bad experience years ago. I have seen places where women say that an anti-anxiety/muscle relaxant helps. Would a small dosage of ativan help relieve the spasms?
