Sharp Jolt of Awkward Pain in Knee - No swelling

Patient : What kind knee injury could I have? I do extensive weightlifting in the gym and have build very strong and thick quads and lower legs. Recently when I am standing and fully flex my left quad, then bear weight on it I get an awkward jolt of pain in my middle knee area. I have no swelling, no pain otherwise, only random jolts at times when I move a specific way.
Symptoms:  Sharp 'jolt' of awkward pain in middle of knee when fully extending leg and bearing weight through the toes. (ie. If you were to walk and push through your toes and completely extend your leg as you stride.) The pain quickly comes and fades (
