Patient : I fell from a roof (about 11 feet) landed on my shoulder, had a bone scan about two weeks later, nothing showed up, have very bad pain in my neck, middle back, left ankle. I have scleroderma, will that make the bone scan negitive or difference? doctor said just soft tissue injury. 53 year old male.
Scleroderma should not have affected your bone scan results. I think you can take the bone scan at face value and assume you have no bony injuries however this does not mean that you do not have injuries to ligaments and muscles which could be the cause of your pain.
