Should I go to the hospital right away?

Patient : Lower left side back pain going on 4 days, recently had black stool. I am a 31 yr old female and have not had any strenouis recent activity that could have 'pulled" any back muscle. I do not suffer from back pain and have a high pain tolerance. I plan on seeing a minor er tomarrow, it being the weekend and they do pcp co pay versus the er. Or is this something very serious that required immediate medical attention, or something that a minor er will just refer me to the hospital?
