Should I work through a possible pulled calf muscle?
Patient : I am a high school track and field athlete. Five days ago,I went for a jog and felt an intense pain in my calf. Not thinking anything of it, I sprinted home,which did not hurt. However, I have been icing for the past five days and it only hurts when I jog, but it feels fine when I sprint. Is this a pulled muscle that I should stay off of, or should I work through it?
