Shoulder Pain

Q: I have shoulder pain which I feel is related to 20 years of working at a hospital carrying heavy trays, pulling trollys and cleaning using heavy equipment. I saw my doctor who said it was a pulled ligament. I disagreed but she organized an ultrasound and cortazone injection. Nothing could be found with the ultrasound and I was refused the injection. I am not a hypocondriact. I only go to the doctor when necessary. I have real pain in my shoulder and wonder what else can be done. It doesn't seem to be as bad in the day time but really aches at night. I am living on pain killers just to get some sleep.
