Sickle cell question

Patient : Can I climb a mountain even if I have sickle cell amnemia ?
Symptoms:  None
Doctor :   Thank you for your question. Changes in altitude can lead to you to experience a painful sickle cell crisis in which sic kled blood cells obstruct capillaries within your extremities. Without knowing how severe your sickle cell disease is, we would warn against this. However, if you have a doctor who has an excellent understanding of your medical history with this disease, safety measures can be taken in order to prevent this from this occurring if you choose to climb. Thank you for consulting
