Since my husband had a stroke (very mild, only affected

Q: Since my husband had a stroke (very mild, only affected his speech a little) it seems he has problems with common sense things. He has hurt his thumb on a table saw when he has worked with saw for years and never had an accident, when moving large object doesn't clear a path before to make it easier, doesn't warn a 4 yr old about a hot grill when he is watching him and other decisions he has or hasn't made has lead me to have some concerns. can decision making and common sense be affected by a stroke?
