Slight Left outer knee pain while running.

Patient

Q: I am a very active 41 Year old male. Just had a knee MRI done. I had a slight knee pain on my left knee.
My doctor's appointment is not for another 2 weeks. Can someone Please help me translate the following to layman's terms? Here is that they say:

-Small partial-thickness tear of the posterolateral bundle of the ACL.
-Moderate paterllar chondromalacia with partial thickness cartilate loss, but no full-thickness cartilage defect.
-minimal lateral compartment chondromalacia
small knee joint effusion
Marror edema in the lateral tibial spine associated with the ACL attachment, likely mild contusion.

Symptoms:  Slight outer left knee pain during activity
