Something not quite right

Patient

Q: Hi there, I have a question about my back, A few months ago after a night out with my friends I came home after having one too many, went to sit down, tripped and hit my lower back on a radiator. I didn't think anything of it except for it feeling like I pulled my back muscles so ignored it as there was no pain. Recently however it's begun to ache and it doesn't feel right. It feels like it's moved or something, I can't explain it. On the outside it looks perfectly normal apparantly, but it's not feeling right at all, What could of happened to my back? I'm making a doctors appointment tomorrow but would rather have a general sense of what's up.

Many thanks.
Dave
