Sore throat with ear pain no fever

Patient

Q: SORE THROAT WITH EAR PAIN. NO FEVER VERY PAINFUL TO SWALLOW AND HOARSE.

Doctor

A:   Most cases of sore throat and ear pain are the result of viral infection. The infection should subside on its own and only tylenol may be required for the pain. Drinking warm soup and saline gargles will help soothe the soreness of the throat.
