Soreness pain in one leg including some numbness

Patient

Q: I have an increasingly sore top of my leg. General soreness. Not in one place. Encompasses the whole top of my leg or thigh all the way around. I can no longer lay on that side due to increasing pain. Now I am unable to even lay on the other side. When I walk, I feel the ache or soreness. It's like I exercised too much, to the extreme. My leg is starting to feel a bit weird, like I am starting to lose feeling in it. I mean I still feel things, but have that weird sensation sometimes, like one leg crossed over the other for too long. I am female, very heavy and not active at all, which could contribute.
