Spaced out and not totally functional

Patient

Q: Hi, I been spaced out over a year and been diagonsed with clinical depression and anxiety disorder. I don't feel like I am all there and sometimes I feel depersonalization like I am not even in my own body. I feel derealization all the time like nothing is real and it is really bothering me. I feel like I am physically and menatlly retarded because I was normal at one point and one night of drinking caused a sharp stabbing pain in the back of my head the next day after throwing up and messed me up pretty bad. I had an MRI and it was normal and I had an eye exam because I am always spaced out like permanently. What is causing this? Is it like brain fog cause I don't feel like I am all therein my head like my brain is just not alive.
