Splinters in the balls of my feet

Patient : I have had three splinters in my feet for a good two and a half months now. I have no idea how I got them, but they were too difficult to get out once I discovered them. I looked up answers on the internet, and the basic consensus was that the splinter would work itself out over time. Well, they haven't worked themselves out. I am a dancer and put a lot of pressure on the areas that the splinters are in (the ball of my foot), which may account for why they haven't come out. Anyways, it appears there are now callouses covering them, and I can't pinpoint the exact location where the splinter is now because of the callouses. It has made walking and dancing both very painful. How can I get these splinters out?
