Patient : Hi. I recently had unprotected sex with a girl who I did not know much about. It was a huge mistake and am beating myself up about it, trust me. I am 23, generally a very healthy person. I also took viagara (could play into effect about my symptoms) that night because a friend had a pill and I wanted to try it out and see the difference. However, intercourse only lasted about 10 minutes and then I pulled out and left because I realized what I was doing was stupid. The following morning (not even 12 hours later) I felt a slight pain and discomfort in my penis. I was immediately worried of course, but after doing research I read that symptoms would not show up that early. It has now been 4 days, and today I developed a rash on the head of my penis (uncircumsized) right by the pee hole (unsure of scientific name). It looks like a irritation rash, however it has been 4 days so a irritation rash showing up 4 days later confuses me. Does not burn when I pee nor do I have any discharge. I do have slight itchiness on my testicles but I think that is just because I read that itchiness is a symptom. Either way, my question is regarding whether this information sounds like I have contracted genital herpes? I got a blood and urine test on Wednesday (3 days after sex) so am still awaiting results (if results will even show, maybe I took the test too soon). Any input would be great to ease my mind and help me understand a bit more. Thanks!
