Stopping Birth Control but still no Period?

Patient: I have been off of the pill for to weeks and still have not started my period is it possible that i could be pregnant already?

Doctor: Pregnancy is possible though it usually takes 3-6 months after stopping the pill for the periods to become regular. You may have to do a urine pregnancy test to confirm whether you are pregnant or not.
