Stove fell on me and worried about back injury

Patient

Q: I was just helping a coworker carry a stove upstairs and he lost his grip. It fell back and I flew down the stairs with the stove in my grip, slamming my back against the wall. I can move around just fine and beyond some minor soreness, I feel okay. I do have some redness at the base of my spine that looks like it will be a bruise. My arm also is red and swollen, where I gripped the stove. What symptoms do I need to watch for as a sign of serious injury? What should I do to prevent serious pain? Thank you.

Symptoms:  Redness, soreness, stiffness
