Strange twitch in left arm?

Patient : I chose shoulder pain because it was the only topic I could find that had any relation to my problem. I've been having this weird twitch in my left arm for the past week: I get it every few days in different places on my arm. It feels more like random pulsations than involuntary movements. The first time it came it was in my upper arm, the second time it was in my shoulder blade, and the third time it was in my forearm. My left arm also aches slightly. What should I do? Is it serious or should I ignore it?
