Patient :I'm an white 18 year old male, and I'm suffering from severe hair loss. I have no family history of hair loss, not in my father, uncles, grandparents, ect. and especially at a young age, and this is all very sudden so I feel like I have reasons to believe genetics aren't causing this. Anyway, at the start of 2015 I had a full, normal head of hair, and now I can see my scalp clearly on the top of my head when I look in the mirror. When I wash my hair, my hands are covered in hair, I find it on my clothing and other places as well, I feel like a dog in July right now. I've been under a considerable amount of stress lately, but I've had a stressful life and lately it hasn't been particularly bad compared to how my stress has always been. I really need to know whats causing my hair to fall out like this. Thank you in advance for your medical advice, I really need the help right now.
