Sudden high blood pressure issues

Q: In December i decided i would start dieting and exercising. out of nowhere i started having high blood pressure issues. 30 years old. no history at all with any sort of illness. now even when i am not exercising it seems my blood pressure is elevated. also feels often that i have some pressure in my head. not heavy, just feels kind of funny. and if i move my head around fast i seem to get dizzy a lot faster than i should or normally would have. what can be causing this. so far dieting and exercising has been a cause not a help. thanks.
