Swelling, coldness and redness of feet (ankles and calves)
Patient : Hi---I am not quite sure how to categorize this. I am a 48 year old female. We moved into a new house in September (part of the house is older and not very insulated). Since I have been here, I am always freezing all over when downstairs. My hands feet and half way up my calves are very cold to touch. My feet and ankles are swollen and I often wake in the night and my feet are very red and hot. My bedroom is warm not like downstairs. I am worried about the swelling, coldness and redness. I am not sure if I should be seeing my heart doctor or my GP. I have had Multiple Sclerosis for 12 year. I have severe weakness in my limbs, bad balance, numbness in the limbs too among other issues. I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol both of which I take meds for. I also have chronic fungal sinusites. I was diagnosed with pneumonia at the end of September and still have a cough that won't go away. I did have an Atrial Fibralation episode about 6 years ago. Let me know if you need any more info, Thank you.
