Patient : Hello Doctor. Three weeks ago I noticed my left collar bone was sore and at the time I thought I had slept in an awkward position. The next day I noticed a lump on the same clavicle, the end near my throat and sternum area and it was still causing me pain, days later still sore and radiating down my shoulder and arm making it a struggle to move. I have sometimes applied tiger balm which seems to help the pain however three weeks later the lump is still there and the pain much worse, it is now affecting my neck. I have taken co-codamol which hasn't relieved the pain at all. I am in China and not very confident with the medical help here. I have no idea what it could be, I do not recall any injury that may have caused it. The more I have thought about it I have remembered many times where I have been in a certain position for too long and my collar bone hurts though never had this kind of pain with it until recently. I am in China and not confident with the medical help here, I am not going back home to England for another month. What do you think it could be and what should I do?
