Swollen lymph nodes

Patient : I have had a swollen lymph node that randomly showed up out of nowhere at the begining of nov and it is now almost april and its still there. I had it checked a week after I noticed it and the doctor told me that because I showed no other symptoms to not worry about it.I did get a blood test done to make sure my thyroid was functioning properly and I was told the test came back good. I had it checked again a month ago and was once more told about the same thing. By the way, the location of my swollen lymph nodes are by my throat, on the right, underneath my jaw. So do you have any recommendations for this issue or is it normal for swollen lymph nodes to stay like this?
