Taking a pregnancy test with PCOS

Patient: When is the best time to take a pregnancy test with PCOS? I have regular periods with a 28 day cycle and I am late by 3 days.

Doctor: Thank you for your queryWhen your periods are regular i.e a 28 day cycle opt for a home pregnancy test after another 3 to 4 days to have accurate results. In general also the home pregnancy test has to be take 7 to 10 days past the expected date of the menstrual cycleHope that answers your query. Have a good day.
