Taping fractured toe

Patient

Q: I have fractured my second biggest toe somewhere from the last "joint" to the end of the toe and am not sure how to tape it. It is naturally fairly straight, but there is a wide gap to the big toe which would result in a curve to the right. Alternatively tapping the the middle toe would result in a curve to the left.

Symptoms:  Pain in certain part of walking movement and when gentle pressure applied to that part of toe, bruising, mild pain when resting.
