Patient :Four years ago i had an emergency cesarian with my second child. During the surgery they found a benign teratoma the size of a grapefruit on my left ovary. They removed the ovary and said i had most likely had that teratoma for a long time. I had signs...some pain on that side as a teenager, i could feel the lump in my side through my abdomen...but nothing too much. Now, four years after having it removed, i am concerned...my right side is now uncomfortable, not painful really though. It is by my hip bone, and sort of behind it in my back. My question is, how likely would it be to have a teratoma on my remaining ovary?
