The issue

Patient : He was diagnosed with diabetes three weeks ago at 1400, went thru intensive care, 5 days coming back to normal. on novolog 70 30,,,,,50 am and 4 and metforman 1000 am and 500 evening. changed to 50 am and 35 evening and 1000 in the morning and 1000 in the evening. his sugar has dropped. 7 evening 84 and 11 night 108. he was given orange juice and something small to eat. My question is do you thing the sudden change has spiked his sugar levels?
