The Pill and Menopause

Patient

Q: I am 54, and I am on the Pill. I feel great on it--no hot flashes, no signs of menopause. However, when I am on the week of placebo pills, I am concerned about the lack of hormones. To keep my bones strong and to keep up my energy, should I just skip the the placebo pills and go straight to the next pack?

Thanks so much,
Natalia
