The smell of food causes vomit

Patient

Q: What would cause the body to reject food? My mother is a diabetic for over 10 years, a year ago, her kidneys failed and she has been on dialysis 3 times a week. Two months ago, he hasn't been able to eat anything. The smell or sight of food makes her throw up. Even if she is able to eat something, it will come back out shortly after intake. Her doctor doesn't know what's going on after numerous tests were run. Now, she's lost a lot of weight and cannot walk anymore. She stays in bed all day long and is barely surviving. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you for your time.
